This scene and rambling dialogue takes place during Silver Seal's Bacchanalian Semana Deligacao (Week of Bonding). Woody has promised his friend and fellow Silver Seal employee Kyndra a hiking excursion to see the Mysterious Ruins of Fornax, a national park of sorts, if the little island coconut republic actually had such things. Of course, the ruins are in a particularly barren and rarely traversed section of the dry, mining and refining Fornax Island, so they make sure to pack some sundries which turns out to be a fortunate decision. Even more fortunate is that the "Junkyard Dog" of Pucky Luxx's Junk Palace decided to follow along. Riptide, a parrotlet (similar to a budgerigar) is trained to bark like a mean dog, but has many other talents, as well.

It doesn't rain much on the east side of Mount Blowhole, and certainly not out on Fornax, but when it does... as they say... it pours....

Kyndra Lee, previously known to some as Kyndra Ambleton, is a geek princess of sorts who was discovered while fishing off the black beaches of Costa Preto and Springfield Bluffs. She is a cheerful and soft-spoken little dazzler who adores her best friend Andie Lee. She is known to have one of the most perfect female bodies in the entire archepelago and does not mind displaying it, even when she is not dancing or entertaining.
